"This story had me hooked from the get go and I was constantly wondering what was going to happen next, what the city had in store for our protagonist next and how much weirder things were going to get. This had the feel of The Twilight Zone with hints of Fringe and 28 Days Later but yet an entity entirely of it's own. It had action, intrigue, excitement, a little romance, humour, sadness and a whole lot of confusion with an ending that sent my mind into a spin and I've found myself looking at my own life from a whole new angle. This is a book that I won't be forgetting for a long time, if ever."
